SuperStar Gemini will sail mainly three-night cruises, with one two-night and one four-night departure in February
Star Cruises' SuperStar Gemini will be sailing from several Malaysian ports, along with Phuket in Thailand, from Nov. 5 to April 28.

Passengers will be able to embark at the Malaysian ports of Port Klang, Penang and Langkawi for round-trip sailings, with Port Klang's proximity to Kuala Lumpur providing the opportunity to attract international travelers from across Asia Pacific.

Replaces SuperStar Libra

'Genting Cruise Lines has a long history in this part of Southeast Asia and we are excited to be making Malaysia SuperStar Gemini’s new home in November 2018 to carry on the legacy of SuperStar Libra, which recently retired from active duty from the Star Cruises fleet,' said Kent Zhu, president, Genting Cruise Lines, the parent of Star Cruises.

Convenience of multiple homeports

'With multiple homeports, including Port Klang, Penang, Langkawi and Phuket, we want to make it more convenient for more guests to join us,' said Ang Moo Lim, president of Star Cruises. 'Various travel options, including fly-cruise packages, make it easy to discover the hassle-free joy of cruising to multiple destinations, which is an affordable, value for money and truly a-one-of-a-kind experience.'

SuperStar Gemini will sail three-night journeys, as well as a special four-night (Feb. 6) and two-night (Feb. 10) cruise. Besides the Malaysian ports and Thailand's Phuket, destinations include Krabi (Thailand) and Singapore.
