Norwegian Jade will visit new ports including Harvest Caye and Santo Domingo on longer cruises from Tampa
With the news that Norwegian Jade will replace Norwegian Star for the 2016/17 season, Port Tampa Bay officials also look forward to some longer, more varied Norwegian Cruise Line itineraries.

Norwegian Jade's core program will be a western Caribbean route departing Sundays to Cozumel, Costa Maya, Roatán and NCL's new destination, Harvest Caye, Belize.

In addition, the ship will sail two eight-day western Caribbean holiday cruises in December 2016 that add calls at Santo Tomas de Castilla, Guatemala.

For the first time Norwegian has offered longer itineraries from Tampa, Norwegian Jade also will operate two 10-day and two 11-day eastern Caribbean cruises.

The 10-day eastern Caribbean sailings depart Jan. 15 and March 19 to Key West, Tortola, Antigua, St. Maarten and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Norwegian will call at Santo Domingo for the first time with Norwegian Jade’s 11-day eastern Caribbean itinerary departing Jan. 25 and March 29. Additional ports include Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Ocho Rios, St. Thomas or Tortola and San Juan.

'Port Tampa Bay is excited that Norwegian Cruise Line is bringing the gorgeous Norwegian Jade to homeport in Tampa in 2016, offering passengers some impressive new Caribbean destination options, as well as longer cruises from our port,' said port president and ceo Paul Anderson.
