Tauck boosts its Bridges shared family experiences portfolio
Tauck is enhancing its Bridges trips in Europe, the Americas and Africa, with a range of  activities, designed to bring families closer together through shared experiences.

The 2016 Tauck Bridges brochure is launched as the company sees strong growth across its 19 family excursions, with bookings up year-on-year and pre-season bookings for 2016 running well ahead of the same period last year.

Ray Steward, UK & Ireland country manager, said: 'Demand for our multi-generational itineraries continues to increase and reflects the desire for families to reconnect and do fun things together when they are on holiday. All our Tauck Bridges trips are crafted to emphasise our belief in “shared enrichment”, with experiences and activities that every generation can enjoy, and that brings them closer together. Our philosophy contrasts sharply with other family holiday options that provide “kids-only” facilities and activities.'

Whilst a number of the itineraries are land-based, Tauck has added additional departures to two of its three Bridges European river cruises, Blue Danube: Family Riverboat Adventure and Castles on the Rhine: Family Riverboat Adventure.

A popular Tauck Bridges small ship ocean cruise, “Galápagos: Wildlife Wonderland,” is being enhanced for 2016 with a new vessel, the 90-passenger expedition ship Santa Cruz II.  The vessel features 36 interconnecting cabins and boasts a range of amenities, including an observation platform for dolphin and whale watching.
