Ten inaugural calls highlight Halifax cruise season

The busiest day will be Oct. 9 when more than 11,000 cruisers arrive on five ships
Halifax, Nova Scotia's cruise season will open April 22 with the arrival of Hurtigruten's Fram. Some 200 calls carrying approximately 300,000 passengers are expected.

First Norwegian Bliss stop in North America

Of 10 inaugural ship visits, particularly noteworthy is the newly delivered Norwegian Bliss making its first North American call on April 30 during the ship's inaugural cruise, a crossing from Europe.

Other highlights include visits by Disney Magic on Sept. 17, Sept. 22 and Oct. 2. Queen Mary 2 will call Oct. 5.

Oct. 9 is expected to be the busiest passenger day with more than 11,000 cruisers arriving on five ships.
