The 10-day river journey sails Oct. 17, round-trip Amsterdam.
This is in addition to the President's Cruise aboard Crystal Symphony, sailing Dec. 1 next year.
Hosted events
Wolber will be accompanied by his wife Sharon and will host receptions, a question and answer session and a specially arranged shoreside experience along one Europe’s less traveled rivers.
'The Moselle River is considered to be one of the most breathtaking stretches of river in Europe and one of my favorites,' Wolber said. He cited 'Roman architecture around every bend, rolling riesling vineyards and quaint towns and villages that each display their own distinct character,' adding: 'I am looking forward to sharing this voyage with our guests.'
World-class rieslings
Cruisers will get to drink world-class rieslings and the famous vintages of the Mosel wine region in Bernkastel, experience the medieval charm of Cochem and the Roman ruins of Trier. In addition, new to Crystal Rhine River stops include Bonn, Beethoven’s birthplace; Dusseldorf, Germany's cultural and fashion hub; and a returning favorite, Koblenz, where the Rhine and Moselle meet; and the historic war museums of Arnhem, Netherlands. Overnights spent in Amsterdam and Trier afford time for longer sojourns such as a day trip to nearby Luxembourg or an in-depth exploration of Holland’s art and culinary scenes.
Crystal Bach is one of Crystal River Cruises’ four new, all-balcony-suite vessels.
