Travel agent learning game incorporates Carnival Vista

Travel agent learning game incorporates Carnival Vista
Carnival Cruise Line created a new learning game dedicated to Carnival Vista within its 'Fun Games' in Carnival Passport, the educational system for travel agents.

Available on GoCCL.com, the new 'Jeopardy'-style game features 15 questions in five categories specific to Carnival Vista with subjects ranging from dining and itineraries to accommodations and outdoor spaces like WaterWorks and SportSquare.

Agents can answer questions in each category with the opportunity to earn 100, 300 or 500 'play points.' Upon completing the game, they will earn 10 credits within Carnival Passport. The Carnival Vista game is designed to last from two to five minutes, giving time-pressed travel agents a quick and easy way to learn more about the line's new ship, coming in 2016.

The game may be played multiple times and questions will change periodically to keep the content fresh. Travel agents can also learn more about Carnival Vista by completing a new tutorial located within GoCCL.com.

Carnival said agents consistently rank the 'Fun Games' in the Carnival Passport collection highest on feedback surveys. The games feature well-known themes such as tic-tac-toe, football and air hockey, among others.

Travel professionals can earn credits within Carnival Passport by participating in tutorials, webinars, trade shows, seminars at sea and more. After completing various levels, agents are issued credits they can convert into points applicable to the line’s Travel Agent Rewards Program. Points may be redeemed for prizes including Carnival logo items, $50 and $100 Visa/MasterCard gift cards, iPads and flat-screen televisions.
