UK agents offered a taste of the Azamara destination experience

Small groups of UK agents will be hosted at Azamara artisan events
Azamara Club Cruises is offering UK-based agents the chance to take part in a series of monthly artisan events curated by the brand to demonstrate its new Cruise Global, Connect Local destination programme.

 

In January 2017, the boutique cruise line unveiled in various markets across the world, developments to its destination offering under the new positioning of Stay Longer, Experience More. Examples of the taster events that trade partners can expereince in the UK throughout 2017 will include: horticultural displays by night at Kew Gardens Orchid Festival, and taste delicious Indian-inspired food & cocktails at the event’s bars and pop-up shops;  a stay at a boutique hotel in Dorset’s Studland Bay; a visit to Royal Acot horse race meeting and play three championship golf courses set amongst the grounds of The Gleneagles Hotel, Scotland. 12-15 agents will attend each artisan event.
 
Azamara Club Cruises’ latest destination news was announced during the cruise line’s best ever trading month in the UK & Ireland market. Bookings were up 85% in January 2017, compared with the same month of the previous year, with Mediterranean and Caribbean based itineraries proving to be most popular.
