Viking Ocean adds new Med/Holy Land routes, opens 2017 bookings
Viking Ocean Cruises announced four new itineraries and opened 2017 departures for booking on Viking Star, Viking Sky and Viking Sea. The 2017 program includes Viking’s most popular routes in the Mediterranean, Western Europe, Scandinavia and the Baltic plus new Mediterranean and Holy Land sailings.

New 2016 cruises include 'Ancient Empires & Holy Lands,' a 15-day Rome (Civitavecchia) to Istanbul program with three days in Israel, making stops at Ashdod and Haifa, with stops at ports in Greece and Turkey. Introductory two-for-one pricing starts at $4,199 per person with discounted airfares starting at $695 per person.

Also new next year is 'Bergen to the Bosphorus,' a 15-day Bergen to Istanbul journey that includes Paris (Le Havre), Lisbon, Tunis (La Goulette), Valletta and Athens. Introductory two-for-one pricing starts at $3,699 per person with discounted airfares from $895 per person.  

New in 2017 is 'Secrets of the Southern Mediterranean,' an eight-day Rome to Barcelona cruise through the southern Mediterranean, including Tunis, Algiers, Valletta, Sardinia and Valencia. Introductory two-for-one pricing starts at $1,999 per person with discounted airfares beginning at $595 per person.

Also new in 2017 is 'Barcelona, the Baltic & Beyond,' 22 days, including Lisbon, Paris, Amsterdam and St. Petersburg. Introductory two-for-one pricing starts at $5,999 per person with discounted airfares from $695 per person.
