Viking Star called at Le Havre today for the first time. Captain Gulleik Svalastog welcomed local Cruise Club representatives on board for a ceremony and plaque exchange.

Valerie Conan from the Le Havre Cruise Club explained the exceptional assets of Le Havre and its city centre, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the MuMa flagship museum which holds the biggest Impressionist collection after d'Orsay Museum in Paris.

Viking Ocean Cruises is due to visit Le Havre three times in 2016 and again in 2017, a landmark year for Le Havre which will celebrate the 500th anniversary of the city’s founding.
