Voyages to Antiquity appoints gm-North America
Rhonda Suarez, a veteran of All Leisure Holidays, Orient Lines and Norwegian Cruise Line, has joined Voyages to Antiquity as general manager-North America.

'Rhonda’s impressive track record within the industry and key experience in the niche cruise sector makes her a key addition to the global Voyages to Antiquity team and integral to the development of our product and brand within North America,' said Jos Dewing, managing director, Voyages to Antiquity.

Suarez was manager of reservations and operations for niche cruise lines Swan Hellenic, Voyages of Discovery and Hebridean Island Cruises in the All Leisure Holidays group. Earlier, she spent 10 years with Orient Lines and Norwegian as director of reservations and land services.

She will lead Voyages to Antiquity's Lauderdale office, overseeing reservations and operations as well as nurturing relationships with key accounts and trade partners.

The news follows the departure of long-time Voyages to Antiquity executive Andrea Corman, guest services director, who has been tapped to open a US office for Rescompany Systems.

Voyages to Antiquity operates the 350-passenger Aegean Odyssey.
