Voyages to Antiquity gets moving for Mercy Ships
Staff at UK-based Voyages to Antiquity are training hard this summer for the Wolf Run, a 10-kilometre cross country obstacle race early next month in Warwickshire where they will be raising funds and awareness for Mercy Ships.

Mercy Ships' floating hospital Africa Mercy is currently located in Benin where volunteers and staff will provide more than 1,700 surgeries on board, treat over 8,000 at a land-based dental clinic and provide holistic healthcare training to Beninese health professionals.

In aid of Mercy Ships, the Voyages to Antiquity’s team of 10 men and women will be tackling climbing nets, log walls and deep water crossings as part of the notoriously tough Wolf Run.

Jos Dewing, md Voyages to Antiquity, said: 'We are extremely proud to support Mercy Ships in the incredible work they undertake. We hope that by taking on the upcoming Wolf Run that we will not only raise funds for this worthy cause but we will also generate further awareness within the maritime industry of Mercy Ships’ efforts.'

The Voyages to Antiquity team have raised nearly a thousand pounds so far.
