Delegates at Western Australia's Cruise Exchange 2015 celebrate its success
Following the success of its first Cruise Exchange in 2013, Tourism Western Australia has hosted a second event at Crown Perth which attracted more than 100 tourism industry representatives.

Cruise lines and ground handlers included executives from Carnival Australia, Royal Caribbean, Star Cruises, Cruise and Maritime Voyages,  AOT Cruise, Intercruises Shoreside and Port Services, Bob Wood Cruise Group, Abercrombie and Kent and Great Southern Railway.

Suppliers and regional port destinations around Western Australia held B2B meetings to build on shorex opportunities and Professor Ross Dowling, chairman of the Cruise WA Committee, held a roundtable meeting to discuss the challenges and opportunities for cruise shipping in the state.

A ‘Cruise Ready’ workshop, supported by Carnival Australia and Tourism Western Australia, was held in Exmouth prior to Cruise Exchange 2015 and delegates were invited to a post-Cruise Exchange ‘Experience Extraordinary’ familiarisation to Geraldton.
