Sojourn passengers will stay at InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa
Wiltrans International, the gsa for Paul Gauguin Cruises in Australia and New Zealand, has released signature land-sea Sojourn holidays from Australia to Tahiti featuring the Papeete-based deluxe boutique ship Paul Gauguin.

Sojourn itineraries take the hassle out of travelling by combining return air transport, hotel accommodation, cruise and airport to hotel, hotel to pier and pier to airport transfers.

The new Sojourn holidays run from September through to December aboard the 19,200gt ship that was purpose-built for sailing around Tahiti and named after the renowned French artist whose life and work is celebrated in the Paul Gauguin Museum in Papeete.

The two-night pre-cruise stay with daily breakfasts is in lagoon-view rooms at Papeete’s InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa, set in 30 acres of tropical gardens with two infinity pools, 2kms from the airport and city shopping.

A nine-night Sojourn package departs Sydney on September 22 and has two nights in Papeete, with seven nights on the 332-passenger ship. It visits Huahine and Taha’a, with overnights in Bora Bora and Moorea and is priced from A$6,210 if booked by April 30. Ex-Melbourne and Brisbane prices, business-class upgrades and single occupancy fares are available.

The longest Sojourn holiday departs Sydney on November 17 and features Paul Gauguin’s 14-night cruise through the Marquesas, Tuamotus and Society Islands. This 16-night package costs from A$8,347 if booked by April 30.
