ALMACO has installed provision stores in more than 100 ships since 1992.
Previously, the know-how belonged to MacGregor’s Passenger Ship Type Division. Since ALMACO’s purchase of this division in 2005, it has built on this experience to offer modular systems with panels in both polyurethane and well as pyrofoam. The pyrofoam space-saving solution with A-60 fire-rated system does not require additional bulkheads, insulation or US Public Health cladding.
Other offerings include modularized walk-in refrigerators, fire-rated heavy-duty hinged and sliding doors, stainless steel floors with welded seams and reinforcements for forklift traffic.
ALMACO’s provision stores can be linked as part of ALMACO’s control and monitoring system which monitors the settings, activity and reports for all refrigerated systems (provision stores, galley refrigerators, refrigeration plant condensing units and chillers) through a single intuitive interface.
Recent ships supplied with ALMACO provision stores are Norwegian Breakaway and Europa 2 in April 2013 and Norwegian Getaway at the beginning of 2014.
