Queen Mary 2’s Queens and Princess Grill suites and restaurants will undergo enhancements in May and June as part of the ship's previously announced drydock.

Cunard Line said its flagship will stay true to her classic Art Deco heritage, while gaining updated, crisp, contemporary interiors designed for today’s discerning travelers.

All 172 Grills suites will receive a comprehensive restyling, reconfigured to maximize space, with subtle references to Cunard’s history. These include soothing muted tones and elegant textures with new bespoke luxury carpet throughout featuring design work inspired by rugs from the original Queen Mary.

The Grills dining experience also will be redesigned. Grill accommodations come with open seating in the Queens Grill or Princess Grill restaurants, both offering an extensive a la carte selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The new Grill restaurants will each display a distinctive character through design, colour scheme and furnishings, and will offer more intimate tables for two, more space between tables for privacy and additional loose tables for greater flexibility and ambiance. Spacious, redesigned dining rooms with rich, updated décor will be complemented by new culinary options and anchored by Cunard’s White Star Service.

Queens Grill accommodations will continue to include butler service. A dedicated Grills concierge sees to both Princess and Queens Grill guests, who also get an amenity selection from heritage perfumer Penhaligon’s and a choice of nine pillow types.

'Under the moniker "Queen Mary 2 remastered," there will be a host of innovations and enhancements, further confirming our commitment to invest in luxury on a grand scale,' Cunard North America president Rick Meadows said.
