Jason Liberty, president/CEO of Royal Caribbean Group, received compensation valued at $17.2m in 2023, up from $10.7m the year before.

Royal Caribbean's 2023 adjusted net income was $1.8b on revenues of $13.9b. The company forecasts a 40% earnings spike in 2024 and expects to meet two 'Trifecta' goals a year earlier than expected.

Liberty's compensation included a salary of $1,246,986, stock awards valued at $11.5m, up from $7m in 2022; and a nearly $4.3m bonus, almost doubled from 2022. Plus, 'other compensation' of $189,252 included a auto lease, security and contributions to the company's retirement savings plan and other perks.

Michael Bayley

The company's second most highly compensated officer was Michael Bayley, president/CEO, Royal Caribbean International, with $10.8m, up from $7.7m in 2022, mainly due to the higher value of stock awards and a larger bonus. Bayley's salary was $1,082,890.
