Resorts World One will operate a two-night weekend cruise to Sir Bani Yas departing Fridays, a three-night Oman cruise to Khasab and Muscat departing Sundays and a two-night Doha cruise leaving Wednesdays.

Passengers may combine two or all three for a four-, five- or seven-night vacation.

Doha homeport for several cruises

Resorts World One will also add Doha as a homeport during the Qatar school holidays from Oct. 24 October to Nov. 2. During this period, vacationers will be able to embark at Doha for two-night sailings (Oct. 24 and 31) and five-night Dubai–Khasab-Muscat cruises (Oct. 26 and Nov. 2).

Experienced with different ethnic and religious needs

He added that with the support of local governments, authorities and travel partners, the line looks forward to further developing cruises to the Arabian Gulf and Gulf of Oman.

Halal certification and other adjustments

Resorts World One will receive the official Organisation of Islamic Cooperation / The Standards and Metrology Institute Standard Halal-Friendly Cruise Ship certification. All meats will be sourced from UAE halal suppliers with no pork served onboard.

In addition, passengers can arrange to have crew of the same gender attend them for selected onboard services such as the spa.

Certified vegetarian and Jain cuisine will also be available to cater to travelers from India and others who prefer vegetarian selections.

Onboard announcements will be made in both English and Arabic.

Capacity for 150,000 passengers

Resorts World One is expected to make 75 calls in the region with 150,000 passengers over the six-month deployment.

Leaders from the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, DCT Abu Dhabi, Visit Qatar, Omani Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, P&O Marinas at DP World, AD Ports Group and Inchcape Shipping Services all welcomed the Resorts World business.
