Florida International University (FIU) is the 4th largest public university in the U.S., with a diverse student population of more than 54,000. FIU’s College of Business is home to some of the top-ranked business programs and faculty worldwide. Our Master of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (MSLSCM) can help you develop the technical knowledge, interpersonal skills, and market knowledge for success in the industry. The program was designed with a rigorous curriculum focused on three key areas of logistics that are essential for success in today’s business environment: logistics technology, data analytics, and distribution modeling. The program also incorporates technical training in software programs, such as SAP, Salesforce, Magaya, SPSS, and Excel, to help students develop the technical digital skills needed to gather, manage, analyze, and utilize data.

In addition, the professors in FIU’s MSLSCM program provide real-world industry insights. Many have held strategic positions at Microsoft, FedEx, Bacardi, HP, Assurant, Farm Stores, Motorola, AeroThrust, and Amazon, to name a few, and several have owned and operated their distribution, shipping, and import/export companies. By enrolling in the program, you can prepare for managerial and executive roles in your career. FIU’s MSLSCM program will provide you with the technical training, hands-on experience, and business background necessary to excel in the logistics and supply chain industry in logistics analysts and logistics managers positions. Logistics analysts work to create a more productive, cost-efficient, and profitable business by streamlining product warehousing, transportation, and distribution. Logistics managers play more of a supervisory role, manage employees, and work with analysts to implement all changes and optimizations, create reports, and maintain vendor relationships.

Other managerial and executive logistics and supply chain roles FIU’s MSLSCM program prepares you for include fleet manager, warehouse operations manager, storage and distribution manager, global logistics manager, procurement manager, acquisition project analyst, facilities manager, and others.

To offer maximum flexibility to busy working professionals, FIU’s 10-month MSLSCM program allows you to choose between hybrid and fully-online formats and offers program intakes in January or August.
