Customers scheduled to sail with the line will be notified of the change by email. The updated policy will be applied to all bookings made for future sailings.

Change applies to tomorrow's departure on board Ambience

As the June 22 policy changeover date falls after the departure of Ambience's ‘Arctic Voyage to Spitsbergen, North Cape & Land of Midnight Sun,’ sailing from London Tilbury tomorrow, Ambassador has said passengers joining the 17-night voyage will not be required to provide proof of vaccination ahead of travelling.

Requirements will still differ according to destination visited

Covid requirements will differ for some itineraries due to entry requirements from host countries, such as Ambience’s 2024 Grand Round the Word Cruise and Ambition’s 2024 Highlights of Brazil and West Indies Adventure. The line will communicate any restrictions with affected passengers.

Vaccination still recommended

Ambassador stated that it still recommends passengers have two doses of a UK government approved vaccine. Although they are not required to take a lateral flow test before sailing, customers displaying Covid-19 symptoms within 72 hours of departure are encouraged to take a test at home as a courtesy to others on board.
