CLIA's Kollar to present travel agent training seminar at Cruise Shipping Asia-Pacific
Cruise Shipping Asia-Pacific, taking place at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre between November 20 and 21, will once again host a comprehensive travel agent training program, presented by Cruise Lines International Association.
Presented by cruise industry veteran Peter Kollar from CLIA Australasia, the education program will help agents better understand the cruise industry's value and revenue potential, and ensure the development of the retail cruise business moving forward in Asia.
‘This is really a wonderful opportunity to help agents in the Asia-Pacific region explore the benefits of selling cruises,’ said Brett Jardine, general manager of CLIA Australasia.
The current line-up of training sessions features November 20: Building Your Cruise Business. This 2-part session is aimed at small business owners or travel agent that want to succeed in cruise retail covering increasing sales by recognizing current trends and future direction of the cruise industry; learning to statistically analyse cruise data to evaluate and plan for the future and understanding the importance of developing a loyal cruise community through social media.
On November 21 , Selling Cruise Destinations will look at the main strategy for converting customers to clients, looking at the different cruise regions around the world and their different appeal and selling dialogue for each situation and destination.
