MSC Meraviglia crew members received their first COVID-19 vaccinations at PortMiami on Friday, marking MSC Cruises’ first crew in the US to be vaccinated.

Earlier, MSC Cruises announced a fleetwide crew vaccination program, strengthening the health safety protocol that has allowed MSC to operate limited cruises in the Mediterranean starting in August 2020.

Vaccinations began with MSC Bellissima completing all crew inoculations on April 30.

PortMiami began facilitating cruise ship crew vaccination in partnership with Nomi Health on May 1.
