New telehealth solution enables contactless cabin visits and shoreside support
Tritan Software’s new SeaConsult solution allows cruise ship staff to conduct secure virtual cabin visits with crew and guests via a laptop or mobile device to protect against coronavirus.
The telehealth solution - free of charge to the company’s clients during the pandemic - can connect to shoreside specialists when additional medical assistance is needed, limiting unnecessary interaction and promoting non-transmission.
Deployment
SeaConsult can be rapidly deployed since 95% of the cruise industry uses the Tritan Software SeaCare Health Platform, so the company claims. To ensure the virtual telehealth platform operates effectively at sea, Tritan Software has also announced an update to its SeaSync tool for use in limited connectivity environments.
Public health management
SeaCare - a GDPR and HIPAA-compliant platform - provides public health and communicable disease management applications, including: automated close contact tracing, quarantine management, epicurve trending, outbreak prevention notifications and the integration of critical compliance requirements to the numerous global authorities such as the CDC and US Coast, among others bodies.
