Seatrade announce cruise forum in Korea for 2014
Seatrade announces Seatrade Cruise Korea, Busan, to take place in Busan, Korea, 12-13 June, 2014.

Seatrade Communications is delighted to announce the latest addition to its cruise event portfolio – Seatrade Cruise Korea, Busan. It is the first time that Seatrade has held a cruise event in Korea and it will take place in the southern city of Busan.

Organised and owned by Seatrade and UBM, and hosted by the Busan Port Authority, Busan Metropolitan City and Korea Tourism Organization, Seatrade Cruise Korea, Busan will feature a strategic combination of both conference sessions and workshops, plus a fam trip for cruise line executives to explore the region.

Representatives of the world's leading cruise lines will take part in the conference sessions to give their insight as to how Korea can gain the most from the industry and increase its presence in this global market.

Chris Hayman, Chairman of Seatrade commented "With the rapid expansion of cruise tourism in Asia, Korea has a vital role as a source market for cruise passengers, as a destination, and, potentially in the future, as a builder of cruise vessels. Seatrade and UBM are delighted to be bringing Seatrade Cruise Korea to the great port city of Busan, which is already playing a key role as an Asian hub for cruise passengers."

"The Korean government announced that it would take various measures to vitalise the domestic cruise industry with targeting more than 2million cruise passengers visiting Korea by 2020. Seatrade Cruise Korea, Busan will be the platform to seek the development strategies for the development of cruise industry in Korea." Mr. LIM Ki-tack President of Busan Port Authority
