Model and fashion producer Jessica Minh Anh will bring her vision to the J Spring Fashion Show 2022 taking place onboard Costa Toscana next month
Costa Toscana will host the J Spring Fashion Show 2022 in Portofino, Italy on February 28, produced by catwalk model and engineer of Fashion x Sustainability, Jessica Minh Anh.

The event, which takes place along the Ligurian Riviera ahead of the LNG vessel’s inaugural cruise, will showcase the best in Italian art, architecture, culture, luxury and delicacies and will be attended by the world’s media and VIPs. It is set to combine three of Anh’s most notable catwalks: Catwalk-On-Water, Sky-High and namely Fashion x Sustainability – the latter comprising a series of projects promoting bio technology, upcycling, and other eco-friendly solutions in the world of fashion.

Titled, 'The World's first Sustianable Ocean Catwalk,' the official campaign video launched yesterday shows Anh running onboard the ship and walking the runway.

‘Marrying fashion with sustainability’

‘Jessica Minh Anh is a pioneer in marrying fashion with sustainability, just like Costa Cruises in offering the most advanced sustainable ships,’ explained Mario Zanetti, president, Costa Cruises.

‘Costa has been the first in the world to operate LNG-powered ships, and focuses on value-driven, sustainable and inclusive tourism. As the travel industry is gradually recovering, it is very exciting for us to welcome Jessica on board, and have her launch such an important message in a creative way on our new flagship, Costa Toscana.

‘We are also proud that this collaboration will happen in Italy and specifically the Ligurian Riviera.’

Zanetti met with the model last weekend onboard the vessel in Civitavecchia to discuss the floor plan, schedule, setup, and exclusive treatments for media and guests, as she described the show as ‘providing an opportunity for a sustainable “restart” of our society’ and said the vessel aligns perfectly’ with her mission of highlighting sustainability ‘in a visually attractive way.’

‘It runs by Liquefied Natural Gas, one of the most advanced technologies to reduce emissions right now,’ remarked the model and runway producer, ‘It represents a breakthrough in the travel industry. I am honored to celebrate the resurgence of business and style on such a unique ship.’
