Bookings have opened for Costa Diadema’s C Club cruise, featuring artist Arturo Brachetti (left), as well as for the 2023 C Club cruise
Bookings are open for a two-week sailing onboard Costa Diadema in November dedicated to Costa Cruises’ loyalty club members, which will feature performance artist Arturo Brachetti and internationally renowned chefs Hélène Darroze and Ángel León.

The November 6 C Club 2022 voyage from Savona, Italy to the Holy Land and Egypt will be host to a program of activities designed exclusively for members of the cruise line’s loyalty club.

Tickets for next year’s C Club cruise to the Norwegian fjords onboard Costa Favolosa are also on sale, departing June 25.

Gastronomy

Darroze will meet C Club members in two events, available depending on the port of embarkation. In the first, the French chef will talk about her career and her cooking philosophy; the second will be a cooking show that engages with the audience.

León’s event – a presentation on his ‘cuisine of the sea’ concept – will also be available depending on port of embarkation. It will also comprise a demonstration where the chef will use some of the uncommon ingredients found in his cooking.

A ‘stars dinner’ offering three menus to choose from interpreting the traditions and flavors of the destinations –  one signed by Hélène Darroze, one by Ángel León, and one by Bruno Barbieri – will also take place.

Entertainment

The Guinness World Records lists Brachetti as the fastest transformer in the world, able to change characters in the blink of an eye. There are more than 400 characters in the Italian artist's gallery. He is the recipient of the Molière Award in France and the UK’s Laurence Olivier Award.

In 2014, President of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano named Brachetti a commander of the Italian Republic.

During the cruise, he will perform exclusively for club members in a gallery of characters from around the world.

ABBA cover band THE SHOW will also perform, in addition to theme parties onboard and surprises for members.

Itinerary

As part of the sailing, Costa Diadema will call: Naples, Italy; Catania, Italy; Heraklion, Greece; Haifa, Israel; Port Said, Egypt; Alexandria, Egypt; Valletta, Malta; Barcelona, Spain; Marseille, France. Excursions, some of them created especially for the club cruise, include historic spots in Jerusalem, a tour of Cairo, the Egyptian Museum and the pyramids of Giza, Malta’s Blue Grotto and its fishing village, Marsaxlokk.

Costa Cruises loyalty programme

Costa's loyalty club was redesigned in April to offer members increasingly exclusive experiences and its structure has five different levels: Blue (the club for those who have never taken a cruise); Bronze (from 1 to 5,000 points); Silver (from 5,001 to 30,000 points); Gold (from 30,001 to 140,000 points); and Platinum (from 140,001.)

Customers are required to join the C Club cruise before making their reservation to participate in the members-only program.
