Costa Cruises delays restart to May

Costa Cruises moved back its restart to May in light of travel restrictions still in place in Italy and other countries.

First Italy cruise May 1

Instead of March 27, Costa Smeralda's first Italy departure is now planned for May 1, with all-Italy itineraries unchanged: three- and four-day mini-cruises or a weeklong voyage including Savona, La Spezia, Civitavecchia (Rome), Naples, Messina and Cagliari.

Adding France and Spain in June

From June 12, Costa Smeralda is planned to return to sailing one-week cruises in the western Mediterranean, with calls at Savona, Civitavecchia and Palermo along with Marseille in France and Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca in Spain.

May 16 start for Greece-Croatia program

The resumption for Costa Luminosa is postponed from May 2 to May 16 from Trieste, and the following day from Bari, as part of weeklong cruises to Greece and Croatia, in line with the latest roadmap for the resumption of international tourism in Greece.
