July 2023 maiden voyage Southampton-Lisbon

Silver Nova's inaugural season is set to commence July 15, 2023, with sailings of seven to 23 days. The 10-day maiden voyage from Southampton to Lisbon will include calls at Saint Malo and three days at Bordeaux to explore the region’s historical sights, 18th-century cultural heritage, castles, vineyards and gardens.

South America grand voyage and trans-oceanic odyssey

The inaugural season is to offer 21 journeys in the Mediterranean and a grand voyage to South America to kick off 2024, as well as a trans-oceanic crossing to more than 100 destinations and 50 countries.

Silver Nova will have the largest offering of suite types in the line's history, among the most spacious in cruising, and a collection of prized aft suites affording 270-degree views.

Other features include Otium, Silversea’s indulgent wellness program introduced in 2021's Silver Dawn (to debut in spring 2022), and S.A.L.T., an immersive culinary concept introduced on Silver Moon. Silversea executives said Silver Nova will take both concepts to the next level.

Luxury and sustainability

'We are thrilled to offer our guests a new way to travel with this evolution of luxury and sustainability,' said Roberto Martinoli, president and CEO of Silversea, adding Silver Nova advances responsible cruising.

'The ship surpasses traditional standards of luxury cruising and propels our fleet towards the future,' added Barbara Muckermann, chief commercial officer.
