Royal Caribbean International canceled sailings on three ships and is delaying the return to service of a fourth.

Miami-based Symphony of the Seas will be out of service starting Jan. 8 and is due to resume with the Jan. 29 cruise. Miami-based Jewel of the Seas will pause from Jan. 9 and is scheduled to begin sailing Feb. 20.

Cruises for Tampa-based Serenade of the Seas are canceled from Jan. 9 to March 4, and the ship is due to return to service on April 26 after dry dock.

Vision's restart further delayed

The return of Vision of the Seas, which has not restarted passenger service yet, is postponed until March 7 from Port Everglades.

Royal Caribbean said impacted passengers are receiving assistance and compensation options, including a full refund.
