Travel insurance products, including cancellation due to quarantine, are embedded directly into the customer journey
Variety Cruises has partnered with Pattern Insurance allowing passengers to purchase travel insurance products at booking.

Available on all cruises, Pattern’s platform allows Variety to offer insurance for cancellation owing to COVID-19 quarantine rules, medical or personal reasons, and provides baggage protection and weather protection.

‘Elevated the insurance experience’

Filippos Venetopoulos, CEO, Variety Cruises, said, ‘Working with Pattern, we have elevated the insurance experience for our cruise customers, making the offering hassle-free, personalised and relevant. As a company, we work to ensure that customers can have the trips of their dreams. Pattern helps us protect them on these voyages.’

Added Noam Shapira, co-founder, Pattern Insurance, ‘...Our platform enables them [Variety] to offer real-time, relevant, personalised insurance for their customers. They can respond immediately to new trends and challenges as their itineraries evolve. Embedding insurance creates a new source of income for Variety Cruises while reassuring their end travellers.'
