Running alongside will be a virtual event to ensure those who cannot attend in person are able to benefit from the cruise community's global gathering.

Seatrade Cruise Global will take place with the continued support of Cruise Lines International Association, the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association and partners and customers from around the world.

Active engagement

'We look forward to joining with our members and colleagues across the cruise community in Miami this September. As we strive to overcome the devastating impacts of COVID-19 and secure a vibrant future for our industry, active engagement during forums such as Seatrade Cruise Global are particularly important,' CLIA President and CEO Kelly Craighead said.

'FCCA has proudly supported Seatrade Cruise Global for over 25 years, and we look forward to gathering with our partners and member line cruise executives for our schedule of exclusive networking events that will complement Seatrade Cruise’s robust opportunities to better understand and do business with the cruise industry,' FCCA President Michele Paige added.

Hosted under All Secure Standards

Seatrade Cruise Global will be hosted under Informa's All Secure Standards, a detailed protocol of health and safety measures developed collaboratively with industry associations, event organizers and venues, along with input from health, government and local authorities, in order to provide the highest levels of hygiene and safety for attendees.

Seatrade Europe in Hamburg Sept. 8-10

As earlier announced, Seatrade Europe will continue as planned, Sept. 8-10 in Hamburg, allowing for the European cruise community to come together. The venue will be the newly renovated Congress Center Hamburg.

The event will host a conference program, trade show and networking opportunities, including these partner-hosted events: CLIA Port & Destination Summit Welcome Reception (Sept. 6), CLIA Port & Destination Summit and CLIA Diamond Partner Dinner (both on Sept. 7) and CLIA Europe Cocktail Reception (Sept. 8).

Seatrade Cruise Global networking events

Similar to past events, Seatrade Cruise Global in Miami Beach will include a conference program, free-to-attend theaters, a trade show and networking opportunities. Among them are these partner-hosted events: Welcome Reception hosted by FCCA and CLIA Diamond Partner Dinner (both Sept. 26), CLIA's Business on the Beach (Sept. 27), FCCA President’s Reception (Sept. 28) and CLIA Connect Reception, FCCA Platinum Member Reception and FCCA Foundation Event (all on Sept. 29).

Virtual gatherings until then

Meanwhile, Seatrade Cruise will host a series of virtual events. They include: Expedition Cruising (March 8-9) with registration open now. Following that: Health & Safety (April 12), Guest Experience (April 13) and Tech & Innovation (April 14).
