The event is expected to draw around 1,000 cruise tourism stakeholders and more than 100 top executives from FCCA's 19 member lines for meetings, workshops and networking opportunities.

The FCCA Conference & Trade Show helps stakeholders maximize their cruise tourism business by giving the opportunity to meet some of the industry's most important decision-makers, according to FCCA chairman Micky Arison, chairman of Carnival Corp. & plc.

Attendees can target FCCA member line representatives who decide where ships call, what products are sold and used on board, and how to invest in infrastructure.

The event format balances business sessions and casual interaction. Included are one-on-one meetings with pre-selected cruise executives, social functions that foster networking and relationship building and workshops focused on current issues with panels comprised of industry professionals and cruise executives. Cruise line presidents and chief executives will also take part in a round table discussion.

The FCCA said a ratio of about one cruise executive per 10 attendees affords some of the best odds to interact with cruise line representatives.

'FCCA events always give me an opportunity to meet valuable industry stakeholders,' said Adam Goldstein, president and chief operating officer, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. 'These are the people who have ideas and projects I want, and need, to know about.'

The trade show enables exhibitors to showcase their products, companies or destinations, and special destination pavilions group vendors, tour operators, tourism ministries and port operators.

Attendees will also get to experience Cozumel’s attractions, with the government and local businesses linking to show what cruise passengers see and do during a call and why Cozumel has grown to more than 3m passengers from FCCA member lines.
