Its comeback follows a four-year hiatus due to the global COVID pandemic and subsequent halt in cruising across the region.

There are flexible attendee registration options. Those who register by September 1 can take advantage of Super Early Bird pricing. For pricing options and to register for the event visit the Seatrade Cruise Asia Pacific website.

Accredited members of the media can register for a press pass with valid credentials.

Recovery of cruising in Asia

‘Seatrade has been engaged with cruising in the Asia Pacific region for 40 years, bringing cruise communities together to support the development of this emerging market,’ explained Chiara Giorgi, global brand and event director for Seatrade Cruise. ‘Cruise operations are gradually restarting in this region with some markets returning strongly to near pre-pandemic levels.

‘With several cruise lines already operating in the region and new players on the horizon, Seatrade is excited to be back in Hong Kong to continue supporting the recovery of the Asian cruise market.’

Kenneth Wong, GM, MICE & cruise of the Hong Kong Tourism Board, added, ‘The choice of Hong Kong as the venue for Asia's first and largest post-pandemic trade event for the cruise industry not only highlights Hong Kong’s significant role as Asia’s cruise hub, but also further strengthens Hong Kong's position in the global cruise industry.

‘The event will bring together the best and brightest elites of the cruise industry from around the world, who can experience first-hand Hong Kong's new travelling experience. This will help showcase to the world Hong Kong's normalcy.’

State of the Asian Cruise Industry

The full conference programme is yet to be released, but will be headlined by the State of the Asian Cruise Industry session, diving into major industry updates, current trends and outlook for the region’s future.

Throughout the event, cruise industry professionals will learn about the latest cruise developments, hear from renowned industry experts, and meet with like-minded individuals.

The conference agenda will feature panels and presentations addressing the most relevant regional trends, threats and opportunities with each session led by a panel of influential leaders and experts.

The dedicated Supplier Showcase Zone will feature exhibitors including ports, destinations and service providers from across the region showcasing their latest facilities and products. Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with colleagues through a variety of networking receptions hosted throughout the three days.
