The top 100 North American first mates with the most bookings between Nov. 1, 2021 and Oct. 31, 2022 will be invited to a free cruise in January.

Aboard Valiant Lady to Key West and Bimini

Departing PortMiami on Jan. 4, this four-night getaway aboard Valiant Lady will call Key West and Bimini, including a visit to Virgin Voyages’ Beach Club. Each first mate attendee will be invited to bring a guest to share a sea terrace cabin along with $200 in Sailor Loot to spend onboard.

Representatives of Cruise Lines International Association and the American Society of Travel Advisors will also attend.

Golden Ink Awards

Events include a special cocktail party, exclusive cabin drops with VV swag, sail-away cocktails, educational opportunities and the first Golden Ink Awards, honoring advisors who’ve gone above and beyond in various categories. From sales manager-nominated categories to best creative marketing, the Golden Ink Awards are planned as an annual celebration.

'It’s so important that we take the time to show first mates our appreciation and to treat them to the same incredible experience that their clients have loved,' said John Diorio, VP North American sales.

Ways to make the top 100

The top 100 list has not been solidified, and with a deadline of Oct. 31, advisors still have time to book their clients and earn a spot on the list. First mates can boost their bookings by reminding clients of any remaining future voyage credits, by selling a Circle (reservations of more than 10 cabins), by using the new Match and Sea More program that offers loyalty perks to those who’ve cruised on other lines and by taking advantage of the new LetsGoBook platform.
