AE Expeditions is the 11th niche market tour and cruise operator, including Australian Pacific Touring (APT) which operates European river cruises and Travelmarvel, to tap into Bright’s vast network of independent travel agents throughout the UK.

Polar destinations

It will provide training on polar destinations, including the Falkland Islands, South Georgia and the Shetland Islands and the Arctic, including Greenland, Svalbard and the Northwest Passage.

It will take part in Bright’s upcoming training events in East Grinstead and Dorset in September, Cheshire and Stratford-upon-Avon in October and Norfolk and Nottinghamshire in November.

‘We are excited to be joining the Bright network, which has a fantastic reputation across the industry for creating such valuable agent training events,’ Andy Tait, snr BDM UK & Ireland, said.

‘It cannot come at a better time for us, with expedition travel being a key trend for consumers,’ Tait said.

Hisham Mahmoud, chairman of Bright, welcomed AE Expeditions as a new ‘reputable specialist brand’ to the organisation.

Introduction to agents

‘We know their team’s passion for working with the travel trade and we very much look forward to helping introduce more of our travel agent partners to AE Expeditions in the months and years to come,’ Mahmoud said.
