The B Corp-certified expedition company is branching out from its polar voyages into the Mediterranean, Atlantic Coast and Southeast Asia.

The move comes with Douglas Mawson, carrying 130 passengers on expeditions, joining Greg Mortimer and Sylvia Earle in late 2025, allowing the company to expand to these new destinations.

Indonesia and Borneo

The season features 42 departures that include new expedition voyages to Indonesia and Borneo and an opportunity to view the 2026 solar eclipse from Greenland, as well as its best-selling voyages to Costa Rica and Scotland.

It is offering dedicated solo cabins on every sailing.

Destination immersion

‘The Aurora style of travel is focused on destination immersion and responsible small ship exploration in a relaxed and informal setting and is consistent no matter which corner of the planet we are exploring,’ CEO Michael Heath said.

‘Our 2026 Arctic and Beyond season heralds an exciting evolution for Aurora Expeditions,’ he said.

‘We have grown from our core offering of polar and remote area expeditions to a greater diversity of destinations, climates and exploration styles to allow our passengers to experience more. ‘
