Aurora Expeditions’ just-released 2026-27 Antarctic season has a ‘women’s only’ voyage aboard Sylvia Earle.

The season features 27 itineraries ranging from nine to 34 days covering the Antarctica Peninsula, East Antarctica and Ross Sea, South Georgia and the Falkland Islands.

They will be operated by the purpose-built expedition ships Greg Mortimer and Sylvia Earle and Douglas Mawson, scheduled to enter service for the 2025-26 Antarctica season.

Old favourites

Returning for the 2026-27 season are the popular ‘Spirit of Antarctica’ and ‘South Georgia, Falklands & Antarctica Odyssey.’

The action-packed ‘Antarctica Active: All-inclusive Activities’ voyage which features camping, snorkelling, snowshoeing and paddling is also returning.

There is a new 10-night ‘Taste of Antarctica’ voyage for time-poor travellers who want to experience the White Continent.

Passengers will enjoy expert-led talks, workshops and excursions on a December 7, 2026 voyage in partnership with science and technology publication New Scientist.
