Australian Geographic magazine editor Chrissie Goldrick will accompany the 10-day ‘Galapagos Islands Adventure — in Darwin’s Footsteps,’ departing August 31, with a two-night stay in Quito, the capital of Ecuador.

From there passengers will fly to the Galápagos to board expedition ship Santa Cruz II.

Excited to collaborate

‘We’re very excited to collaborate with an organisation that shares Hurtigruten Expeditions’ ethos of preserving the pristine destinations and cultures we visit,’ MD Asia-Pacific Damian Perry said.

‘These journeys will allow guests to travel with hosts who will share their passion for conservation, adventure and community,’ Perry said.

Inclusions for Australasians

Australian and New Zealand passengers will receive additional inclusions, such as extra lecturers with the Australian Geographic hosts, on-board credits, an Australian Geographic welcome pack and membership in the Hurtigruten Ambassador program which includes a 5% discount on the fare.
