Cairns-based Coral Expeditions is returning to its ‘Small Islands of the World’ itineraries, with Coral Geographer sailing from Fremantle across the Indian Ocean to the edge of Africa — Madagascar, Mauritius, Reunion and Zanzibar.

‘This is a much-anticipated milestone for our guests and crew,’ Commercial Director Jeff Gillies said. ‘We are eager to resume our adventures beyond the shores of Australia and to realise the exploration potential of our new blue water fleet.’

The ‘Small Islands of the Indian Ocean’ series commences December 13 with a 17-night cruise from Broome to Singapore via south Sulawesi and Borneo.

On January 8, 2023, Coral Geographer sails from Singapore to the Seychelles and on February 3 she sails from the Seychelles to Mauritius via Madagascar and Reunion.

A 17-night cruise from Mauritius to Zanzibar on February 19 follows before she returns to Fremantle from Zanzibar on March 8.

Between March and April 2023, Coral Expeditions will operate voyages from Darwin to Raja Ampat and the Spice Islands and from December until January 2023 Coral Adventurer will sail to New Zealand’s Fiordlands, east coast and sub-Antarctic islands.
