The purpose-built 120-passenger Coral Adventurer, launched in 2019 and able to reach areas inaccessible to larger ships, will carry just 112 passengers on this voyage to Australia’s remote coastal territories.
Highlights will include a feast and performances by the indigenous people in the Thursday Islands, a winemaker’s lunch in Western Australia’s Margaret River region and a charter flight to an outback country homestead in Queensland.
‘This will be a rare and special travel experience with a planned schedule of 48 excursion experiences, dispersed around the vast and diverse coastal landscape of Australia,’ Commercial Director Jeff Gillies said.
‘Our team is excited to launch this epic new voyage,’ Gillies said.
‘One key element will be that our culinary team has developed a programme of shore excursions and onboard offerings inspired by the globally renowned regional produce we will find along the way,’ he said.
He added Coral Expeditions’ choice to operate under the Australian maritime flag, with an all-Australian crew, gives passengers a uniquely Australian adventure.
