The Australian-flagged small ship company has an Australian crew, carries fewer than 100 passengers per ship and has an authorised SailSAFE health and safety plan.

‘We are pleased to finalise our plans with the decision to offer an Australian-led sailing schedule for 2022,’ Commercial Director Jeff Gillies said.

Travel uncertainty

‘As we continue to see travel uncertainty, particularly across international borders, we want to provide confidence and early planning opportunities for our guests and travel industry partners,’ Gillies said.

‘These newly released voyages provide more availability on classic voyages and the addition of some unique new travel options for Australians to enjoy.

Hot destination for 2022

‘We have seen a very strong demand over the past months with our successful restart in the Kimberley and it looks like being the hot destination for travel in 2022.

‘This iconic cruise is a true bucket-list [wish] for any Australian adventurer and we will have three purpose-built expedition ships operating in the Kimberley in 2022 and 2023.’

New dates in April and May 2022 aboard Coral Geographer for the 10-night Kimberley cruise between Darwin and Broome are timed to coincide with the waterfall season.

The full schedule of 2023 Kimberley sailing dates from April to October have also been released.

Expanded Kimberley cruises

There is a new 12-night Kimberley cruise, with the addition of the remote Ashmore Reef, Adele Island and the spectacular Rowley Shoals Marine Park.

Across The Top

There is also an 18-night ‘Across The Top of Australia’ voyage between Cairns and Broome aboard Coral Adventurer.

Great Australian Bight crossing

The 14-night ‘Australia’s Great Southern Coastline’ voyage is in partnership with the Australian Geographic Society and departs Melbourne for Fremantle aboard Coral Geographer on March 1, 2022.
