Crystal's Iceland expeditions open to 'extraordinary' demand

Just 24 hours after the five 10-night voyages opened for reservations on Tuesday, more than 50 percent of capacity was booked.

The Iceland expeditions begin on July 17 with five consecutive circumnavigations from Reykjavík and crossing the Arctic Circle.

Fares start at $13,999

Travelers can book now with savings, reduced deposits and an extended final payment date to 60 days prior to first date of service, among other incentives. Cruise fares start at $13,999 per person, including double 'Book Now Savings' at $3,000 for a limited time. Travelers will receive a $300 per person on-board credit.

The 20,200gt Crystal Endeavor is nearing completion at MV Werften in Stralsund. It can accommodate 200 passengers, making for 10,000 cubic feet per guest for a passenger space ratio of more than 100.
