The company’s 140-passenger flagship Heritage Adventurer will make the ‘South Pacific Sojourn’ from Vanuatu to New Zealand via New Caledonia and Australia’s Norfolk Island in November.

Get-together dinner

It commences in the capital of Vanuatu, Port Vila, on November 7 where passengers will attend a get-together dinner and overnight in the hotel, with complimentary breakfast, before joining the ship.

She will call at Vanuatu’s Tanna Island, New Caledonia’s Lifou Island and Norfolk Island, Australia’s old penal colony where descendants of the Mutiny on the Bounty settled, before going on to New Zealand’s Bay of Islands.

She arrives in Tauranga on Day 10, with a complimentary transfer from the ship to Tauranga Airport.

Complimentary beer, wine and soft drinks are served with lunch and dinner aboard Heritage Adventurer, and shore expeditions are included.

50% saving

As an added enticement, passengers on either ‘Discover the Secrets of Melanesia’ or ‘New Zealand Coastal Odyssey’ 2023 voyages will save 50% off the ‘South Pacific Sojourn’ fare when travelling back-to-back.

New to expedition cruising

Commercial Director and Expedition Leader Aaron Russ said ‘South Pacific Sojourn’ is perfect for anyone who is considering a Heritage Expeditions cruise and it is an excellent opportunity for repeat guests to explore new shores.

Russ said the voyage carefully blends exciting island adventures with luxurious sea days when passengers are invited to join the captain on the bridge.
