Joint venture sees BSM Cruise Services support management of Hurtigruten fleet

BSM Cruise Services can now provide a one source ship management software covering both full technical and hotel management
BSM Cruise Services has formed a joint venture with the Hurtigruten Group for the provision of technical and crewing services to Hurtigruten’s expedition fleet, led by Frank Oertel, MD, Hurtigruten Technical Services and director of operations at BSM Cruise Services.

It follows Schulte Group’s acquisition of Rescompany Systems Ltd. (Resco) earlier this year, meaning BSM Cruise Services is able to provide a single ship management product covering both full technical and hotel management.

Hurtigruten Technical Services

Hurtigruten Technical Services was established by Hurtigruten Group and BSM Cruise Services in February – a technical operations organisation dedicated to the management of Hurtigruten’s expedition ships.

Headquartered in Hamburg and with offices in Manila and Mumbai, Hurtigruten Technical Services has six ships under management.
