The packed lineup includes an expedition industry leaders panel discussion, regional updates, and sessions on striking a sustainable balance, itinerary planning, emerging destinations, innovation in ship design, a destination workshop led by EYOS Expeditions' Capt. Ben Lyons, Q&As, virtual tours and networking events.

Northern Lights live stream

Just added, an opportunity for delegates to get a glimpse of one of the world’s most spectacular natural wonders, the aurora borealis (northern lights). Five cameras set up around Iceland will be streaming live throughout the event in the hope that participants will be able to watch the aurora borealis dance in the night skies over Iceland.

On 8 March at 2 p.m. GMT/9 a.m. EST, Seatrade Cruise's Anne Kalosh will host a panel discussion with expedition cruise industry leaders to discuss this distinctive sector's safe resumption and growth.

The lineup includes Roberto Martinoli, president and CEO, Silversea; Asta Lassessen, CEO, Hurtigruten Expeditions; Sven-Olof LindbladCEO, Lindblad Expeditions; Hervé Bellaiche, chief sales and marketing officer, Ponant; and Geoffrey Kent, founder & co--chairman of Abercrombie & Kent Group of Companies.

Other hightlights of the content include hearing from some of the leaders from newcomers to the expedition cruising scene such as Swan Hellenic's Andrea Zito, Mario Ferreira at Atlas Ocean/Mystic and John Waggoner from Victory Cruise Lines; a catch up with experienced expedition leaders Jason Edmunds, Adam Rheborg and Anja Erdmann-Rutten about what challenges they face in the field and a session on the challenges that go hand in hand with planning itineraries and shoreside experiences.
