The live stream will be from Lindblad's newly inaugurated National Geographic Resolution
Lindblad Expeditions plans to live stream the solar eclipse from Antarctica on Dec. 4.

During the stream, a Lindblad expert will educate viewers about the eclipse, what's happening in nature during the phenomenon and how to safely view one in the future. In the event the conditions are clear enough to view the eclipse, shipboard photographers will capture and share some of the world’s first professional images, straight from the Southern Ocean.

Commentary by naturalist David Cothran

Lindblad naturalist David Cothran will serve as host and provide color commentary, while National Geographic photographer Ralph Lee Hopkins will be shooting the phenomenon.

The broadcast will be coming from newly inaugurated National Geographic Resolution at 1:15 a.m. EST Dec. 4.

The stream will be live on Lindblad Expeditions’ Facebook page, as well as YouTube that will be embedded on Expeditions.com/Eclipse.
