After the Saga Cruises newbuild emerged from the covered building dock, its funnel was lifted on by a crane. Spirit of Adventure is now alongside at the Papenburg yard's outfitting pier.

Conveyance in August?

In the coming weeks, tests will be executed there before the ship undertakes its conveyance along the Ems River to the sea, probably in August. There, from the port of Emden, sea trials will be carried out.

The 58,250gt Spirit of Adventure stretches 236 meters/774 feet and measures 31.2 meters/102 feet at the beam. It has 554 cabins for 999 passengers.
