Oceanwide Expeditions adding new Arctic late summer sailings
In January, Oceanwide Expeditions announced the cancellation of Ortelius’ Arctic 2023 season due to low occupancy.

Now, according to the operator, 'Circumstances have changed, providing us a great opportunity to add new voyages to Greenland and Spitsbergen.'

Late summer sailings

Taking place during the late summer, the expeditions consist of a 13-night voyage from Iceland to northeast Greenland and Spitsbergen departing Reykjavik August 20 and finishing in Longyearbyen.

Following on is a five-night Southern Spitsbergen and Bear Island cruise ending in Tromsø.

Both trips can be combined into an 18-night sailing with a 20% saving on the total price.

For any 13- or 18-night voyage bookings made before end May 2023, passengers will get a free pair of Swarovski CL Companion 8x30 B binoculars.

Four ships in the Arctic

Oceanwide Expedition's Rembrandt van Rijn, Hondius and Plancius will operate in the Arctic this summer starting in May for the former and in June for the latter two ships.
