Ponant’s Le Soléal and Le Jacques Cartier will make a series of voyages in New Zealand from now until March.

The 264-passenger Le Soléal and the 184-passenger Le Jacques Cartier, making her debut in New Zealand, will operate a total of eight departures, visiting 23 ports of call. 

Le Soléal kicked off the season, leaving Dunedin on December 3 for New Zealand’s Subantarctic Islands.

Le Jacques Cartier will sail from Tasmania on January 2 to cruise around New Zealand’s North and South Islands before sailing from Auckland to Cairns on January 25.

Destinations

Ponant’s New Zealand season includes visits to Akaroa, Antipodes Islands, Auckland, Bay of Islands, Campbell Island, Doubtful Sound, Dunedin, Dusky Sound, Enderby Island, Gisborne, Kaikoura, Lyttleton, Marlborough Sounds, Milford Sound, Musgrave Inlet, Napier, Stewart Island, Picton, Tauranga, The Snares, Ulva Island, Waiheke Island and Wellington.

Authentic experiences

‘Our included shore excursions and tours are providing guests with authentic New Zealand experiences and continue to contribute to support local communities and their economies,’ Corbett said.
