Ponant launches winter 2022/23 itineraries

Ponant will commence its 2022/23 season with 11-day Antarctica cruises from Ushuaia; 12 sailings will take place between December 2022 to February 2023 to explore the White Continent, home to humpback whales, gentoo-, king-, Adelie-, and chinstrap penguins, leopard, crabeater and Weddell seals, and seabirds.

Zodiac landings, kayaking outings supervised by qualified kayaking guides, talks on fauna, history, geopolitics, the great explorers and environment, as well as hiking and visits to scientific bases and former whaling stations will take place. Prices start at £7,380. 

Caribbean

Cruising from and returning to Fort-de-France, four 13-day itineraries will run from November 2022 to February 2023, showcasing 10 islands: Martinique, St Kitts, Anguilla, the British Virgin Islands, Saint Barthelemy, Dominica, Guadeloupe, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Grenada and Saint Lucia. 

Opportunities to scuba dive among turtles, barracudas, rock lobsters and parrot fish with experienced Ponant instructors will be available. Prices start at From £4,050.

Latin America

Voyages to Belize, Mexico, Costa Rica, the Chilean fjords, Panama and beyond will be available. 

Asia

Picturesque landscapes, urban centres, snow-capped peaks, paradise islands, century-old temples and futuristic skyscrapers will be accessible to passengers, with cruises calling Vietnam, Indonesia or Singapore.

Persian Gulf

Passengers will encounter urban and nature activities, including authentic traditions and vast deserts and sand dunes. The programme includes the port of Sour, Khasab, the gateway to the Arabian fjords, the Gulf of Oman, Waqif Souk in the heart of Doha’s old city, the Sir Bani Yas Island nature reserve, Abu Dhabi’s new Louvre Museum and the Grand Mosque.

Indian Ocean

The ‘Secret Seychelles Islands’ cruise comprises 13-days of less-frequented locations that are home to endemic fauna and flora. The programme includes scuba diving and snorkelling on coral reefs of the Alphonse and Poivre atolls, as well as Assumption Island.

Five sailings will take place from Mahé returning to Mahé, from December 2022 to April 2023 with prices starting at £4,670. 

Pacific and Oceania

Vessels will call at Tahiti, Bora Bora, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia and the Solomon Islands. Calls to Oceania and the South Pacific will take place to encounter local culture.

Calls at idyllic islands in French Polynesia or New Caledonia will provide scuba diving and snorkelling opportunities.
