News broke on June 1 that the Bremen-based operator will use Deutschland during the period from June 9 to July 29, first for a group charter and then, from June 20, on three cruises to Spitsbergen, Iceland, Greenland, the Faroe Islands and Shetland Islands as a two-month replacement of Hamburg, which is undergoing technical repairs.

‘The team did an outstanding job! It is great to work with a swift and responsive company like Rescompany understanding the customers’ requirement urgent and helpes set up the PMS in a very short time,’ said Oliver Steuber, managing director of Plantours and Partners.

The Resco Ship Management System comes with an integrated point of sale and offers optional modules such as gangway security, excursion sales, cashbook, AVO (cabin maintenance tracking), inventory management, crew management, eMustering and mobile applications and using industry standard touch screen technology.

The Resco on board systems are currently installed on some 120 vessels.
